Plan your next trip to the North East to coincide with a visit to one of our authentic Farmers' Markets.  You'll generally find one of our seven markets operating on any given weekend throughout the year!

Help yourself to the best of our farm fresh produce, meet the growers and taste the seasonality in their foods, find out the best way to use their products and importantly, find out how the products were produced and where.  In fact you'll have the chance to meet the Butcher, the Baker and the Candle Stick Maker. (Yes, we actually have candles made out of natural beeswax!)

'Fresh is obviously Best' and this is certainly the basis of all our Farmers' Markets. There's a real difference when you taste a tree-ripened peach that was picked the day before, a vine-ripened tomato that simple oozes real flavour or a Murray Cod that was swimming around that morning.  Produce from our Farmers' Markets will reinvigorate your taste buds and you'll find a Farmers' Market on just about every weekend throughout the year in North East Victoria.

Buying locally reduces the food kilometres that the produce has to travel to get to market, and this also reduces the stages in the food chain from paddock to plate. Hence, by shopping at any one of our North East Farmers' Markets, customers are actively contributing to reducing carbon emissions whilst being guaranteed access to quality, freshly harvested produce that supports local farmers and puts money back into the local rural communities.  Now that's got to be a good thing!
